Purple colored - Cherry flavored - Rock Candy
We had so much fun making this stuff. The first batch was burnt. The second batch we boiled 2-3 times before it hardened enough. The third batch we boiled twice, and it turned out pretty good. Just a little sticky.

It was so delicious,

but sticky...Uriah pulled a tooth eating it!

Before we left we got a picture. Susanna is the only one missing, and part of Elisabeth's face is cut off.

Thanksgiving Evening

Psa 100:4-5 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
We ate turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean cassarole, cranberry sauce, homemade wheat rolls, deviled eggs, black olives, sweet potatoe cassarole, a green salad, and pumpkin pie.

Grandma Whalen makes the best pumpkin pies!

In between dinner and desert some played Uno!!!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving day very much. It is so nice to have close family come. We are thankful for many different things, but we are especially thankful for our family!
