Ok, I've got to straighten something out here... These are 'chicks' or 'baby chickens' or whatever else people call them, but they are not peeps. You EAT peeps, and you eat them only by biting the head FIRST and slooowwwly stretching it out until it is stretched as far as it will go, and then when it finally pops off, you are free to eat the remainder.

I love the little chicks!! My grandma used to raise chickens and I loved them!!
