Psalms 8

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
                      Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Outreach

While in the Phillippines our team went on 6 medical outreaches.

Different outreaches included different forms of transportation . . . . one time it was a dump truck which was quite exciting!

On many of the outreaches, police came along with us.  This picture shows the army, which came along on at least a couple outreaches.

I can't tell you what it means but I think they were welcoming us!

Medicines and nessesary stuff that has to come along on an outreach.
The outreaches were located in many different places . . . this Munyan village served as one.

This scwatty potty was put up just for our team

Another Munyan villiage

Having fun on a log bridge, next to an outreach location.

After a long day we would dig into some food that was provided for us!  The fish was quite tasty . . . . I don't know about the eye balls!!!  I did not bother to find out!

Boat Ride

Our director, Warren Curtis Smith, took us on a boat ride

We stopped at a tiny island so we could swim, look for seashells and explore

The Super Ferry

Uh! Oh!

That's easy to fix!

                                                           Our 1st Sunday in Calapan

 Girls looking out of a Filipino home

==========
During our 6 week stay in Calapan our directors took us to visit and spend some time with children at an orphanage

 ++++++++++++++

                                                  )))))))))))))))))((((((((((((((((((
There were a few children who lived near our base.  They would wait outside the gate and call our names until one or a few of us would come and play with them.

A white baby . . . . a rare sight!
